The little BIG Show

The little BIG Show

On exhibit during the month of August is the annual "little BIG Show!" An exhibition by 100+ local and regional artists who are given up to eight, 8" x 8" panels on which to create their work. All of the "little BIG Show" art work is just $40, no matter the artist or medium. Hundreds of finished panels are submitted! The panels are divided and dispersed to the five participating Baker City galleries. The five galleries will open simultaneously to sell the original and specifically created work! This year the work will be shown at Crossroads Carnegie Art Center, Copper Belt Tasting Room, Petersons Gallery, Royal Artisans & the Short Term Gallery. The LBS will be on display upstairs at Crossroads in the dance studio. A portion of each art work sold will be donated to the galleries charity of choice. Crossroads proceeds will go the Crossroads Hand to Heart Scholarship Fund allowing children and adults to take classes at Crossroads regardless of financial consideration. In conjunction with "the little BIG Show," “Color Gone Wild!” a two month weaving and fiber art show will continue to be displayed at Crossroads until the end of August. The show is sponsored by the Weaving Guilds of Oregon (WeGO), which features 67 colorful and beautifully woven scarves, handbags, shawls, jackets, table runners, rugs, towels, vests, framed weavings, throws and wall hangings.
