What's new at the art center?
July Rinpoche's Visit to Crossroads
Crossroads Carnegie Art Center is excited to welcome back the Rinpoche to Baker City again this year. The Sand Mandala and the Sutra's were so spectactular last year!
This year the Rinpoche will spend less time at Crossroads and more time out in our community meeting citizens like you and I. One of the unique opportunities this year will be the Animal Blessing in the Geiser Pollman Park.
Attached is the schedule so take a look and make a point to come and meet the Rinpoche. Our staff has had the pleasure of getting to know him and his life's story is remarkable.
He will be the featured speaker at Art Access Pass on July 6th from 10:30 am to 11:30 AM at Crossroads in the downstairs. Light refreshments will be provided.
So Crossroads and Baker City will be facing some Ying and Yang this next week-- the peacefulness of the Rinpoche against the back drop of Latin Dancing starting at Crossroads and the Hells Canyon Motorcycle Rally!
