HANDBUILDING POTTERY WITH PAM – FISH & FLOWER POTS
Come explore handbuilding with local artist Pam Bingham! In this class you will learn and practice rolling out a slab, cutting out and joining pieces, texturing, and glazing. Create beautiful pottery items for your home including a fish, a French butter dish, and a flower pot. Clay is a material rich in history and possibilities for art making, and handbuilding pottery is the oldest use of the medium. This ceramics technique allows you to create forms with just clay, your own hands, and a few simple tools.
