Course Description:  It’s perfectly easy, inexpensive (about $.75 a loaf) and takes little time to produce your own artisan bread. A fabulous crust is achieved using a baking stone. In this class we will learn the basic recipe, bake bread, eat what we bake for lunch, and make a stone for perfect crispy crusts. Lunch is provided. Clay and firing fees included in class cost. *See below for special considerations.

Cost: $45 members / $60 non members

Class minimum: 6 students  

Class maximum: 9 students


*SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Instructor has asked, due to the unique nature of this class and for her own personal health and safety that all students present proof of vaccination to participate in the class. This has been approved by the Crossroads Board of Directors. We do not foresee the need to make proof of vaccination mandatory for other classes. Before the start of the class you will need to stop by and show your vaccination card to a staff member.
