BRASS LAB FOR KIDS

A fun six week introduction to the brass family of music instruments from trumpet to tuba.  We will explore brass music of all types from rock to classical.  Participants can learn the basics of producing a sound, learn a few notes, perhaps even a song.  Participants will also be able to hear, touch and try most of the other brass instruments.  Instruments will be provided, however if a participant can bring their own that would be best.  Lessons can be arranged for any student wishing to continue.  If there is interest, the Lab may continue on a weekly basis.

Dates: Friday mornings

Session I (5 weeks): May 13th, May 20th, May 27th, June 3rd , June 10th

Time: 9am to 10am

Ages: 4th - 6th Grade

Supplies: Trumpet or Cornet recommended but not required

Location: Downstairs Studio, Class Size: Min. 1, Max. 6

Cost: $40 members, $60 nonmembers
