Intro to Polymer Clay!

Family Friendly!

Come get a crash course introduction to the versatile medium of polymer clay! Known best by the brand names Fimo and Sculpey, this oven-baked clay is easy for beginners, and yet it is used by serious professional sculptors, too. Artists use this clay to create art dolls, wildlife figures, home décor, jewelry, and even for techniques resembling painting and quilling. We can’t possibly do it all in one 2-hour class, but we’ll sample some of the most popular techniques and go over the most frequently asked questions. Students will leave with a small sculpture and a budding addiction to this colorful medium.
