Basic Quilling and Paper Coiling Techniques (photo)
Paper quilling, also called paper filigree, is a papercraft that has been popular since the 15th century and has experienced a resurgence in popularity during the last couple of years. It is incredible how you can make complicated shapes and patterns from simple paper strips and glue! This introductory class will provide the basics in some creative ways to use paper for ornaments and more! Use this fun art form to decorate cards, packages, and make special gifts. Instructor will provide paper, glue, and a limited number of quilling tools. It is suggested that participants purchase their own quilling tool at Copy, Ship, and Mail.

Cost: Ages 13 and up - $16 member, $24 nonmember / Ages 8 to 12 - $5 with paid adult submitted to instructor at time of class. Please indicate children's name(s) age(s) on adult registration at sign up. $5 supply fee
