Fun Intro Quilting Class!


Have you ever wanted to learn to quilt but have been overwhelmed with all the information? You're in the right place! This 2-part class will be full of information and hands-on experience. The first class will focus on gaining a solid foundation for quilting fundamentals and sewing the quilt top. Then, in class two, we'll get her squared up, bound, and ready for all the snuggles!

I can't wait to teach you this time-honored skill that’s not only fun and relaxing but useful as well! I will have lots of tips and techniques to make quilting easier, faster, and more fun! See you soon!

Last Day to Register: August 8

Ages: 10+ (Mature Students)

Class Size: Min. 3, Max. 10

Supplies: Crossroads has 4 sewing machines for students to use! Please let Crossroads know if you need to use one of these machines or if you are bringing your own. 

  • 1 Layer Cake
  • 1.5 yards of fabric for sashing and border
  • 1/4 yards of fabric for accent squares (the little ones)
  • 1 spool Coordinating Thread (Aurifil recommended) 
  • 3/4 yards of fabric for binding (before second class)
  • 4.5 yards of fabric for backing (before second class)
  • Instructor will provide two pressing and two cutting sessions

If this is your first time taking a class at Crossroads, please submit a Participant Registration Form before the first day of class.

If you have filled out a Participation Registration Form within the past year, you do not need to submit one again.
