Spanning Time, Paintings in Wax
Leah Svendsen and Will Roundy bring us an encaustic exhibit in the month of October! Both artists are long time residents from Joseph, Oregon who share a love of painting and wax. "Spanning Time, Paintings in Wax" was born from a childhood saying they're fond of; another way of saying "spending time". In the show, Roundy explores time through seasonal color parings in his ethereal abstract pieces. Svendsen comments on time concepts, mostly the present moment, through representational works.
