Intro to Mosaics!
April 9, 10, 11
Intro to Mosaics
This beginner/intermediate workshop is perfect for students just starting out or those with more experience seeking to broaden their skills. It covers the basics of mosaic art: history, terminology, styles, design, material choice (particularly glass), tools, cutting, shaping, and nipping glass, gluing, jointing, grouting, etc. It includes ample one-on-one instruction with Boise Mosaic Works owner James, who has been teaching mosaic art since 2002, and a project designed, rendered, and completed by the student. Most of all, it's a lot of fun and provides the student with all the knowledge they need to continue in the medium, should they so choose.

All materials are included!
