Complete Basics of Stained Glass!
In this 2-session course, you will learn the basic skills to dive into making your own stained glass at home. You will have an option of patterns to choose from, as well as a variety of glass to choose from, to make your own piece of stained glass.
During the first session (5 hours), you will learn the basics of plotting vinyl on glass (and tracing glass), how to cut glass, and how to grind glass.
In the second session (5 hours), you will learn how to use the Tiffany method of foiling, gain guided experience with soldering technique, how to frame with lead came, and how to properly clean and polish stained glass
At the beginning of class, we will cover the best safety practices for working with stained glass. Class may run over depending on individual pace. All materials included!
