The Art of Batik!

This introductory class will introduce you to the Indonesian and Indian art of Batik, a unique art form that combines a wax resist process, dye, and fabric.

Location: Crossroads Downstairs Classroom

Supplies to bring: Students should bring a simple design idea with a pattern no bigger than 12"x12" and a fine-tip black Sharpie. Additional hair dryers are helpful. Dye, wax, fabric, and tools will be provided. Multiple patterns also available for students to use.
